What a Bathroom Remodel Includes
- Tub-to-shower conversions. The most requested bathroom project in the area. Curbed or low-threshold showers with a properly sloped pan, full waterproofing membrane, and tile or solid-surface walls.
- Full gut renovations. Everything out, down to the studs. New plumbing rough-in, moisture-resistant board, modern ventilation, and a layout that actually works for how the household uses the room.
- Tile work. Floors, shower surrounds, and niches, set on flat prepped substrate with straight lines and clean cuts. Tile is unforgiving of bad prep, so we do not skip it.
- Vanities, fixtures, and lighting. Vanity replacement, faucet and trim upgrades, mirror and lighting packages, and exhaust fans that are sized for the room instead of whatever was cheapest.
- Accessibility upgrades. Grab bars anchored to blocking, curbless entries, comfort-height fixtures, and wider clearances for aging in place. Done so it looks like design, not equipment.
- Water damage repair. When we open a wall and find rot, we fix it properly. Subfloor, framing, insulation. If the damage traces to a storm or a plumbing failure, our insurance remodeling experience helps with the claim.
The Part You Never See Matters Most
Bathroom failures almost never start at the surface. They start in a shower pan that was not tested before tile, a vent fan that dumps humid air into the attic, or a supply line that was never secured and rubs a joist until it leaks. We photograph everything before it gets closed up, so you have a record of what is inside your own walls.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A tub-to-shower conversion typically runs one to two weeks. A full gut remodel runs three to five weeks depending on tile scope and fixture lead times. We give you a written schedule before work starts and tell you which days the bathroom is fully out of service.
Can you convert my tub to a walk-in shower?

What causes bathroom tile to fail?
Bad substrate prep and missing waterproofing, almost every time. Tile set over flexing or damp surfaces cracks and releases no matter how good the tile is. We fix the substrate first, which is why our tile stays put.
Do you handle the plumbing and electrical too?
Yes. Fixture relocations, new circuits for lighting and heated floors, and exhaust ventilation are coordinated with licensed trades under one contract, one schedule, and one person responsible: Richard.
Is a permit required for a bathroom remodel?
Swapping fixtures in place usually does not need one. Moving plumbing, adding circuits, or structural changes do. We pull permits through the county and schedule the inspections ourselves.
What will my bathroom remodel cost?
Scope drives it: a conversion with stock fixtures is a different number from a gut remodel with custom tile. After the walkthrough you get a written proposal with line items you can actually read. The consultation is free.
Can you make my bathroom bigger?
Often, yes. Stealing space from an oversized closet, an adjacent hallway, or a rarely used tub alcove is a common move. It is structural and plumbing work, which is exactly the kind of scope a licensed general contractor should be running rather than a bath-fitter franchise.
Do you do heated floors?
Yes. Electric radiant mats under tile are an affordable upgrade when they go in during the remodel, and in an uninsulated-slab house they change winter mornings entirely. The circuit, thermostat, and insulation detail all get handled as one piece of the scope.
How do you keep dust and mess out of the rest of my house?
Zip-wall containment at the bathroom door, floor protection along the material path, and a shop vac that runs at every cut. Demolition debris leaves the same day it comes out. You are living in the house while we work, and the job site should end at the bathroom threshold.
